FANS have given less than flattering feedback for Travis Cloke’s return to senior action.

The Collingwood key forward played his first senior game since Round 4 against Port Adelaide today but could manage just one behind on the scoreboard.

He worked hard for 13 disposals, four tackles and six marks — some of them in the back pocket — but saw several others slip through his fingers and lined up for a set shot from 50m out directly in front only to send the ball sailing out of bounds on the full.

It’s fair to say the wet conditions weren’t ideal for a marking forward and Cloke wasn’t the only Magpie not at his best as the Power cruised to a 67-point win.

Coach Nathan Buckley described Cloke’s performance as “serviceable”.

But fans on social media weren’t in a forgiving mood.

But some fans defended a player they see as a scapegoat for Collingwood’s bigger problems.
