Collingwood’s Jordan De Goey has left the football world in disbelief after videos posted on social media platform showed him partying in Bali.

The shocking video footage of the 26-year-old partying has spread across the internet. One clip captured a moment where the footballer appears to attempt to expose a mystery woman’s breasts inside a Bali nightclub.

But now the pressure is being put on the Collingwood Football Club for allowing the star player to head to Bali in the middle of the season.

Geelong legend Cameron Mooney was scathing.

“I am staggered the club let him go. Whatever happens from here, Collingwood it’s on you. It’s the stupidest decision I’ve ever seen a football club make,” the triple-premiership player told Fox Footy Live.

“Eight months ago he was in the US, we know what happened there. He’s come back, he’s playing good footy, the club is playing footy, and now they’ve allowed him to go over there.

“Whether he was going to be stupid or not, just the fact that they let him get on that plane. You’ve made your bed Collingwood, you’re idiots.

“Every player has to tell their club where their going in their break. Someone has gone, ‘Bali, De Goey, yep tick. Off you go champ’.”

Fellow Fox Footy legends shredded De Goey over his “entitled behaviour”.

Former Port Adelaide star turned media personality Kane Cornes stuck the boots into De Goey for his decision to venture overseas prior to the videos emerging. On Saturday he switched his focus to the club and was baffled nobody from the club had stepped forward to discuss the matter.

“It’s one of the dumbest decisions I’ve ever seen… that the club allowed this to happen and for him to act in this way,” Cornes said on SEN.

“We have requested Collingwood to come on this morning… I can’t believe the leadership team from the Collingwood football club wouldn’t join us this morning to explain how they’re feeling about another front page embarrassment from one of their players who continually let’s them down.

“At this stage they’re defending his actions, I can’t believe they are doing that, and the invitation is open (to join the show).

“I think the least you could do is front up and answer some of the questions we put to you this morning.

“I hope they (Collingwood) are looking into who made the decision to let him go. That we thought we could allow Jordan De Goey on a four-day break to go to Bali.

“It’s one of the most ridiculous things that I’ve seen for a long time, he clearly doesn’t have the capacity to make informed decisions for himself that are in the benefit of his career for the situation that he’s in.

“You can’t get away with doing what he did in that nightclub and the footage that has been shown in 2022, you can’t, you can’t treat people like that.

“For those of you saying, ‘he’s just at a nightclub having a good time’, just look into it a little bit clearer and look into the actions of himself that he has made in full display in full public that are now on the front page of the Herald Sun and the embarrassment that causes the Collingwood Football Club and it’s fans when everything’s going really well.

“It’s one of the silliest decisions I’ve seen from a player ever and the club isn’t without fault here for allowing him to go.”

The club released a short statement on Saturday.

“The Collingwood Football Club is aware of video footage involving player Jordan De Goey that was taken in Bali in recent days. The Club will comment further as soon as it is in a position to do so,” the statement read.

In a blistering article, Mark Robinson labelled Jordan De Goey “the dumbest player of his generation”.

Collingwood legend Tony Shaw believes the club needs to pull the pin on the star if he’s involved in any further unsavoury behaviour.

“When you’re not smart you make dumb decisions,” he said.

“He’s probably not a smart person. I don’t think he’s a smart person. The problem is, what people see as rude, obscene, whatever, this kid does not understand that people will see it that way. He has to be told.

“It’s not a hanging offence. But he has got to understand that there are standards, as a person, not as a footballer, about what you do in public.”

De Goey is expected back at the club on Monday.
