Co-host lets slip James Brayshaw’s massive wedding plans
A footy legend has at the 11th hour revealed the massive plans going into Channel 7 commentator James Brayshaw’s wedding.
Channel 7 commentator James Brayshaw is getting married on Friday, according to footy legend Billy Brownless.
As first reported by The Herald Sun, the AFL media figure will tie the knot in Perth this weekend alongside a star-studded guest list.
The former North Melbourne Kangaroos chairman is getting married for the second time after proposing to fiance Lisa Christie 12 months ago.
News Corp reports Brayshaw and interior designer Christie have already travelled to Perth before the big day.
Brownless, Brayshaw’s co-host on Triple M’s popular Rush Hour show, said the wedding will continue into Saturday when guest will make the trip to Rottnest Island
“Jim’s going around again so second time up, he’s marrying the lovely Lisa who’s planned it all,” Brownless said.
“Got the wedding on the Friday and then on the Saturday going to Rottnest Island.”
Footy legend Garry Lyon and partner Nicky Brownless, Craig Hutchison and his partner Clare, Brian Taylor, Luke Darcy, Campbell Brown, Nathan Brown, Damian Barrett, Danielle Frawley, Angus Brayshaw and Greg Blewett are all among the high profile guest list.
The couple first began dating in 2017.
He finally put a ring on it last year while the couple enjoyed a trip to Italy.
“Italy... best country in the world in my opinion,” he captioned one photo with Christie. “Daylight second... yesterday in Salo, Lake Garda... next level extraordinary!” he added.
He also wrote: “Verona... beautiful place full of astoundingly well dressed people... like you are walking around in a fashion shoot.”
The former South Australian cricketer has four sons — Henry, George, Johnathon and Frederick — with ex-wife Sarah. The pair separated after 23 years together.
Christie has two children from a previous relationship and had previously been engaged to gardening guru Jamie Durie.
