Boy, 12, on electric scooter seriously injured in crash with bus
A young boy has been hospitalised with serious injuries after the second critical e-scooter crash in recent weeks.
A young boy enjoying his school holidays has been hospitalised after colliding with a bus while riding his electric scooter.
Western Australian Police said the 12-year-old was riding the e-scooter in the Perth suburb of Wangara about 11am Friday when his scooter collided with a Toyota commuter bus at an intersection.
The boy was taken to Perth Children’s Hospital with serious injuries, while the 43-year-old man driving the bus was unharmed.
Police want to hear from anyone who witnessed the crash at the intersection of Wanneroo and Ocean Reef Roads.
