Victorian kid comic absolutely roasts Simon Cowell on America’s Got Talent
A seven-year-old Pascoe Vale comedian has absolutely roasted the famous judges on America’s Got Talent, including Simon Cowell and Terry Crews.
Simon Cowell has finally met his match.
Australia’s JJ Pantano, 7, absolutely roasted the America’s Got Talent: Champions judges with a series of burns aimed at Cowell’s “new look,” host Terry Crews’ “32 game” football career, and Heidi Klum’s background as a Victoria’s Secret model.
When all was said and done, the panel proved they were in on the joke, with Cowell praising Pantano’s set, telling the Australian comic he’s “got this little star glow going”.
Pantano first made a name for himself on Australia’s Got Talent last year as a finalist, but he brought his act to an even bigger crowd this week, and wasted no time diving in.
“When I got invited to come on America’s Got Talent: Champions, it was like all my dreams came true at once. So I decided to do some research on the judges,” he told the crowd on the latest episode, which is available to stream on Foxtel Now.
“Did you know that backstage, there are five hairdressers, three makeup artists, a wardrobe department, and a whole team of nutritionists? And that’s just to maintain Simon’s new look.”
The audience roared with laughter, but the young comedian was just getting started.
“Heidi, my mom told me that you were a Victoria’s Secret supermodel,” Pantano told Klum.
“And she showed me one of your videos, but then dad came home from work and we watched all your videos. Over and over again.”
Next up was British singer and judge Alesha Dixon.
“You started your career as a singer and sold 42 million albums and won 15 Grammys,” teased Pantano.
“Oh, wait a minute. That’s Alicia Keys. Sorry!”
Pantano’s punchline earned him a round of gasps from the audience, as well as host Crews.
“He’s vicious!” Crews said.
Pantano then turned his attention to “Big Terry,” who floated around NFL teams throughout the 1990s.

“For seven years, you were a pro footballer, and you played 32 games,” said the young star. “I’m 7 years old and I’ve played more games than that!”
Despite the shade, the panel loved Pantano’s set.
Klum insisted that he’s “hilarious” and “a little star,” and Dixon touched upon the disconnect between his appearance and his act.
“Well, looks can be deceiving because you came out and I thought, ‘Oh my goodness, he’s so cute,’” she said.
“And then I thought, ‘Oh, my God, he’s brutal!’”
Even Cowell gave Pantano his stamp of approval. “I think you’ve got this little star glow going about you,” he said. “The fact that you ripped into us and we all love you says so much.”
America’s Got Talent: The Champions features 40 acts who have competed on the show around the world in their home countries in a bid to be crowned the global winner, and is airing now on Foxtel.
Aussie singer Jack Vidgen impressed Cowell when he performed on the show earlier this month, but unfortunately failed to advance to the next round.
