Meghan Markle has revealed a touching glimpse inside her life at home with her daughter, Princess Lilibet, while sharing a new image of herself and her youngest child running through the grounds of the family’s $14.65 million ($A23 million) Montecito mansion.

The 43-year-old Duchess of Sussex featured the candid snap on the front page of a new website she launched to announce the rebrand of her lifestyle brand, which was initially launched under the name American Riviera Orchard but has since been renamed ‘As Ever’, Realtor reports.

Markle’s decision to rename her brand comes just two weeks before she is due to debut her new Netflix project, a lifestyle-focused series called “With Love, Meghan,” which was originally meant to premiere on Jan. 15 but was postponed to March 4 in the wake of the California wildfires.

Speaking about her decision to change her brand’s name — in a casual video filmed in the backyard of the home she shares with Prince Harry and their two children — Markle explained that she felt “limited” by the name American Riviera Orchard and wanted a label that would better reflect the ethos behind the company.

“Last year, I had thought that American Riviera sounds like such a great name,” she said.

“It’s my neighbourhood. It’s a nickname for Santa Barbara, but it limited me to things that were just manufactured and grown in this area.

“Then Netflix came on — not just as my partner in the show, but as my partner in my business, which was huge. I thought about it, and I’ve been waiting for a moment to share a name that I had secured in 2022, and this is the moment! And it’s called As Ever.”

She added in the caption of the video: “‘As ever’ means ‘as it’s always been’ or some even say ‘in the same way as always.’”

In her video, Markle is seen sporting a simple white button-down and jeans, while crouching on the ground in her backyard, surrounded by flower beds and lush trees.

The photo’s location is all the more meaningful given the significance of the property’s gardens in the couple’s lives. In 2022, Markle revealed in an interview with The Cut that the grounds were actually the reason she and Harry decided to buy the nine-bedroom, 16-bathroom estate in the first place.

“One of the first things my husband saw when we walked around the house was those two palm trees,” she shared. “We did everything we could to get this house.”

That same yard also appears to be featured in the newest branding for her company’s website, which thus far features nothing more than an image of the former “Suits” star and her 3-year-old daughter running across a verdant green yard, with the ocean off in the distance behind rows of trees.

The image also marks one of the few instances in which Harry and Markle have shared a photo of their daughter, who was born in the US and has rarely been seen in public.

Since relaunching her Instagram account, Markle has shared several images and videos that were taken in and around her Montecito mansion, which she and Harry purchased back in 2020 after relocating from the UK to California.

Although the duo initially made every attempt to keep their home closely guarded from public view, Markle’s return to social media appears to have sparked a new eagerness to open up their lives — at least in a limited capacity.

In early February, the mother of two shared a video of herself inside the nine-bedroom, 16-bathroom estate, while showcasing a gift she had procured from pop star Billie Eilish to give to a California wildfire victim, whose home had been lost to the flames.

The grounds of the property were also featured in the couple’s Christmas card this year, which included a sweet image of the Sussexes embracing their children in the yard, while their beloved dogs happily roam around their feet.

However, anyone expecting to get a good glimpse inside the home in Markle’s new Netflix series will be sorely disappointed; instead of using her own home as the set for the show, the Duchess opted to rent out a nearby home, which is where she filmed much of the content for “With Love, Meghan.”

The four-bedroom, 4.5-bathroom property is owned by local philanthropists Tom and Sherrie Cipolla, who purchased the dwelling for $4.7 million back in 2017, according to records. Realtor.com® estimates reveal that it is now worth upward of $8 million (A$12.6 million).

Nestled on 5 acres, the main farmhouse boasts a chic and elegant decor worthy of a Nancy Meyers movie — or a Meghan Markle docuseries — and features an open floor plan and ample windows that flood the home with plenty of light.

An additional barn on the property provides another filming location, while the picturesque grounds — which abound with lemon and avocado trees — served as a picture-perfect backdrop for Markle’s latest project.
