While he hasn’t purchased anything yet, it is understood that Hemsworth is working with a representative to inspect properties for his first Victorian base.
Although the Marvel star hails from Melbourne and spent his adolescece in Phillip Island, he has no known property assets in the state as of yet.
He and wife Elsa Pataky currently own a mega $30m mansion in Byron Bay with a gym, steam room, media room, games room and 50m rooftop infinity pool with ocean views.
Hemsworth is also an avid Bulldogs fan and has been seen in the past watching his AFL team play at Marvel Stadium.
The actor’s management has been contacted for comment.
It comes after about a third of the luxury Beach St apartments have already been snapped up off the plan, with the remaining ones available ranging from $2.7m up to $18.5m for the penthouse suites.
Former Socceroo and Liverpool player Kewell has also engaged a buyer’s agent from Sydney to inquire about the project, according to industry sources.

Marshall White projects director Leonard Teplin declined to comment on the identities of prospective buyers, but noted that the complex had attracted interest from “some pretty high-profile people” across Australia, including some well-known business personalities who had already secured a pad.
“It’s one of the more popular apartment projects we’ve had.” he said.
“The day we went live there were over 400 registrations of interest … and in the first 72 hours it had 83,000 (website) impressions, which is massive.”
Kewell, 44, now works at Celtic Football Club as first-team manager under compatriot Ange Postecoglou, who recently listed his Toorak mansion for sale.
