A 102-year-old woman has died after a fire broke out at a home in an inner suburb of Melbourne.

A 102-year-old woman has died in a house fire in an inner Melbourne suburb.

Firefighters were called to the blaze on Reynard St just before midnight on Monday.

The woman, who was the sole occupant of the home, was found dead inside the property.

Victoria Police have confirmed the fire is not being treated as suspicious

A report will be prepared for the coroner.
