The wealthy family behind the Myer retail empire have listed their spectacular Toorak estate with a $96m-$105m asking range that’s set to smash Melbourne records.

Named Cranlana, the mansion at 62 Clendon Rd could dwarf the city’s $80m house price benchmark set by a home on St Georges Rd, Toorak, in 2022.

The original, circa-1900 home was bought by Sidney Myer and wife Merlyn in 1903 and they remodelled it in 1921.

Myer family Investments chairman Sidney Myer AM, grandson of the original Sidney Myer, said the “treasured home” had been a focal point for the family for generations.
