Woman confronts gang of thugs after they assaulted a 17-year-old

A WOMAN who saw three thugs assaulting and robbing a 17-year-old boy chased them down and demanded they return his stolen belongings.

A WOMAN who saw three thugs assaulting and robbing a 17-year-old boy last week has chased them down and demanded they return his stolen belongings.

The lone teen was walking in Narre Warren about 7pm on October 19, when three males, including one wearing a mask, crossed the road and began punching and kicking him to the ground.

The masked male demanded he hand over his bag. When he refused, one of the other men kicked him in the head, then the group stole his bag and ran off along Kendall Ave.

The woman, who saw the incident, chased the trio in her car before confronting two of the males, who gave her the bag.

Police said a small amount of cash and an Apple MacBook Air with a “Beats by Dre” sticker on the inside had been stolen from the bag.

The victim was not injured.

The masked male is believed to be Asian, aged in his late teens and about 170cm tall with a tanned complexion.

He had a septum piercing and was wearing a green singlet.

The second male was taller and aged in his late teens with dark hair and a beard.

He was wearing white or light grey pants, a grey track top with a black logo on one side of the chest, brown hiking or work boots, and had diamond studs in his ears.

The third male is described as Middle Eastern, aged in his late teens and 170cm tall.

He was wearing a denim jacket, white T-shirt, black pants and a cap.
