Two held over cop car ramming, carjack bid in Dandenong
TWO MEN have been arrested after allegedly ramming a police vehicle and attempting a carjacking in Dandenong in Melbourne’s southern suburbs.
TWO MEN have been arrested after allegedly ramming a police vehicle and attempting a carjacking in Melbourne’s south.
Police spotted two men in a suspected stolen car on Cheltenham Rd, Keysborough, at 11.50am.
It was followed through several suburbs before being used to ram police car in Dandenong’s central business district.
They then drove away before abandoning the vehicle and trying to steal another from a motorist on the Princes Highway, Dandenong.
Two men, a 26-year-old from Springvale and a 25-year-old from Doveton, were arrested near the scene.
They are being interviewed by police.
