Spiderbait fan urinated on during Melbourne concert
DISTURBING footage shows the moment a woman was urinated on during a gig. Belle Nolan thought a drink had been spilled on her, but she was wrong.
DISTURBING footage has emerged of the moment a concertgoer was urinated on during a crowded gig.
Melbourne woman Belle Nolan was watching Spiderbait perform on February 26 this year when she felt something wet on her leg.
At first she thought a drink had been spilled on her.
But Ms Nolan said she soon realised what it was and saw a man who “shrugged and smirked like it wasn’t a big deal”.
“At first I thought someone had spilt their drink on me,” Ms Nolan said.
“Then I realised it was warm. I looked up and saw this guy looking at me, doing up his fly and I realised he had urinated on me.
“I was in shock.”
She said her friend raised the matter with a security guard and the man was removed from the venue but his details were not recorded.
She told The Herald Sun she decided to come forward because she felt humiliated and that urinating on someone was actually a crime.
Last night the Australian band revealed their disgust at the incident and applauded Ms Nolan for coming forward.
In a Facebook post, they wrote: “We are so appalled at this awful and disgusting behaviour and that our valued fan Belle has had to endure at one of our shows, how can this happen? We are dumbfounded!?”
The trio urged anyone who had been there to help find this offensive, urinating ****stick.
“Does anyone out there know him? All information is helpful and we do not condone this behaviour.
“Belle, we applaud you standing up and taking action. This type of behaviour is absolutely not to be tolerated!!! We are going to stop at NOTHING to find this creep.”
Police have released footage of the man wanted for questioning over the incident on Russell Street in Melbourne’s CBD.
He is described as having fair skin, about 187cm and with an average build, with short, dark hair and dark eyes.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
