Man found dead inside eastern Boronia home, homicide squad called in

A quiet suburban street has been closed off after a man’s body was found inside a Melbourne home.

Homicide detectives are piecing together how a Melbourne man died after his body was found inside a suburban home in the early hours of Friday morning.

Victoria Police confirmed officers had been called to the house on Lorraine Street in Boronia just after 4am.

The 20-year-old man is yet to be formally identified but was declared dead at the scene.

“The exact circumstances surrounding his death are yet to be determined,” police told NCA NewsWire.

The suburban street is expected to be closed off for an extended time while officers comb the area for vital clues.

A Toyota HiLux was parked outside the weatherboard home in what appears to be a quiet street.
