Homicide detectives are investigating a man’s death in Endeavour Hills, where devastated loved ones collapsed in anguish outside the home.
Homicide Squad detectives are investigating the death of a man in Endeavour Hills after emergency services were called to a home on Sunday morning.
Outside the property, dramatic scenes unfolded as devastated family and friends arrived, some collapsing to the ground in anguish.
At about 6.30am, police were called to a property on Mossgiel Park Dr where a man was found dead.
The victim, who has yet to be formally identified, was discovered with injuries consistent with a stabbing.
A man was arrested nearby and is currently in custody.
He is expected to be interviewed by detectives in connection with the incident.
Police believe the two men are known to each other.
Distraught family and friends gathered outside the house after police arrived, with photos from the scene showing multiple women falling to the ground in despair as they were comforted by police and loved ones.
Authorities are urging anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has dashcam or CCTV footage to come forward.
