CCTV has captured the moment a brazen thief makes off with over 80 parcels from a post office, in a heartless act just days before Christmas.
CCTV has captured the moment a brazen thief stole over 80 parcels from a post office in Melbourne just days before Christmas as police search for the brazen thief.
Police allege the man broke into a post office in the south east Melbourne suburb of Mentone around 4.30am on December 17.
After using a crowbar to enter the premises, CCTV shows the thief collecting over 80 parcels in his brazen spree before leaving with them stacked on a trolley.
Police do not know which direction the thief fled after exiting the Florence St post office and are appealing to the public for information.
He is described as being caucasian in appearance, approximately 175cm tall with a large build and long straight black hair.
The man was last seen wearing black gloves, a black security jacket, brown shoes and a black face covering.
Police are appealing for anyone with information relating to the incident to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or to submit an anonymous report online.
