The footage — released by Crime Stoppers — shows two men entering the alley at the rear of a business on Glen Huntly Rd.
One man discharges a firearm into a garage roller door numerous times before the duo flee.
The CCTV has been released in the hope the men shown can assist inquiries into the incident, which occurred just before midnight on November 4 last year.
The man who discharged the firearm wore light coloured overcoat with a dark jumper underneath and dark trousers.
The second man wore dark clothing.
