A GLENORCHY man is in police custody after a serious assault in Hobart’s northern suburbs.
A GLENORCHY man is in police custody after a serious assault in Hobart’s northern suburbs.
Police said officers and a Tasmania Ambulance Service crew were called to Risdon Rd, Lutana, about 7.25am today.
A 43-year-old man had been subjected “a serious and potentially prolonged assault” at the Lutana home.
Police said the injured man was being treated at the Royal Hobart Hospital.
His injuries were not believed to be life threatening.
The incident scene was this morning being examined by Glenorchy CIB and uniform officers and members of the Tasmania Police Forensic Services unit.
