THREE youths are facing arson charges after a derelict home in South Hobart was destroyed by fire.

About 1.30pm today the Tasmania Fire Service was called to a house fire in McKellar St.

The property was a derelict house partially destroyed during a previous fire in 2015.

It was subject to a demolition order because of its structural instability.

Today’s fire completely destroyed the home. Nobody was injured.

Detectives from Hobart CIB later interviewed three youths, who will be proceeded against under the Youth Justice Act.
