A wild brawl between three teenage girls which broke out at a public library in Queensland has been caught on camera.

The shocking footage, which was sent to the Courier Mail, shows a girl on the ground outside Beaudesert Public Library screaming, “get the f-ck off”, as another girl punches her in the head and pulls her hair.

As stunned onlookers watch she shouts “let go of my hair c***”.

Inside the library, the fight escalates with two members of staff and two men attempting to break up the fight.

A third girl joins in as the girl who was on the floor outside falls down again.

She can be heard shouting: “Come here b-tch, I’ll f---ing kill you.

“Come on c---, you want to talk sh-t …”

A member of staff can be heard saying “come on, sweetie, get up”, before the teen is attacked again.

“Don’t hit her, leave her, leave her!” the woman screams.

A source told the paper: “Library staff were terrified, and police were called and they put the library into lockdown.”

In a statement, police said they were called to the library at approximately 4.20pm on Monday following reports of an alleged altercation between two teenage girls.

Upon arrival, a 15-year-old South MacLean girl was located with minor injuries.

A 52-year-old female staff member was also allegedly assaulted when she attempted to intervene.

A 13-year-old Beaudesert girl was not physically injured and was taken into police custody at the scene.

“She is being dealt with under the provisions of the Youth Justice Act,” a Queensland Police spokeperson said.

“Investigations are continuing.”
