POLICE are investigating the death of a seven-year-old boy who died after reportedly falling off a pogo stick.

Paramedics were called to a home in Oatley, in Sydney's south, about 6.15am after receiving reports the boy was unresponsive.

Upon arrival at the Mulga Road home, paramedics determined the child had died.

Hurstville Police also attended the scene and are investigating the cause of the boy's death after being told he had suffered a head injury yesterday after falling off a pogo stick.

A report is being prepared for the Coroner.
