Coronavirus Australia: NSW records only five cases
NSW has recorded its lowest number of daily COVID-19 infections in the state in a month, but another person has died from the virus.
NSW has recorded just five cases recorded in the last 24 hours.
This is the third-straight day the state has recorded under 10 new cases of the deadly disease.

For the past two days, nine cases have been recorded in NSW.
Today is the state’s lowest dip in numbers for more than a month, with NSW also recording five cases on July 12.
That brings NSW’s total number of cases to 3761.
Unfortunately, a man also passed away last night from COVID-19, taking the state’s death toll to 54.
“NSW Health sadly reports the death of a man in his 80s, who had COVID-19,” NSW Health’s Jeremy McAnulty told press today.
“We pass our condolences to his family and friends.”

Of the five new cases reported to 8pm last night, three are linked to the Tangara School for Girls cluster.
Twenty-five cases are now associated with the Cherrybrook school cluster.
A man in his 40s from Western Sydney also tested positive, becoming the fourth case. It is believed he acquired the illness locally and NSW Health confirmed this case is “still under investigation”
The fifth and final case for NSW today is believed to be a close contact of the aforementioned case, the man in his 40s from Western Sydney.
