Boy hit by car on busy street in Ashfield

Paramedics are treating a 12-year-old boy after he was hit by a car during the school pick up this afternoon.

A 12-year-old boy is being treated for injuries to his head and body after he was hit by a car.

Paramedics rushed to the scene at Bland Street in Ashfield at around 3:30pm on Thursday afternoon.

The boy was hit by a car outside St Vincent’s College on the street.

He is being treated for an abrasion to his head and injuries to his abdominal and hip region.

Crews are still on scene and the boy’s condition is not yet known.
