New South Wales Police have released further CCTV footage in a bid for more information about the alleged shooting murder of a Mejid Hamzy at Condell Park last year.

Mejid, the younger brother of Brothers For Life founder Bassam Hamzy, was allegedly shot dead outside his Condell Park home in October.

About 7.30am on October 19, 2020, emergency services were called to Simmat Ave, Condell Park, following reports of a shooting.

Mr Hamzy, 44, was located nearby with multiple gunshot wounds and despite the efforts of emergency services, he died at the scene.

Detectives from the State Crime Command’s Criminal Groups Squad established Strike Force Courier to investigate the alleged shooting murder.

In March this year, detectives released CCTV of two vehicles of interest – a grey Toyota Rav 4 and a matte black Mercedes Benz.

Following further investigations, police have now released additional CCTV of the two cars as well as vision of a third vehicle of interest – a white BMW 328i.

Police have identified all three vehicles travelled from Moorebank to Condell Park.

Detectives are looking to identify the occupants of the vehicles, who may be able to assist with further inquiries.

The vehicles have been captured on CCTV travelling in convoy at Marion and Edgar Streets, Condell Park, prior to and after the shooting.

The Toyota was found burnt out at Yagoona a short time later.

Police say the Mercedes and the BMW returned to Moorebank before travelling to Luddenham.

In addition, police have released CCTV of two further vehicles – a silver Toyota Corolla and white Toyota Hiace van.

Officers are also seeking to identify the occupants of these vehicles, who may have witnessed the events prior to, and after the alleged shooting.

The 2001-2007 model silver Toyota Corolla was travelling north on Simmat Ave in the moments before the incident, while the white Toyota Hiace van was seen, also travelling north on Simmat Ave, moments after the incident.

Investigations under Strike Force Courier are continuing.
