‘Robbed’: Slain woman’s family front court for her alleged killer
The family of a woman, killed in an alleged suspected domestic violence incident, have spoken how they were “robbed” of more time with her.

The family of a woman, killed in a suspected domestic violence incident in Perth, have vowed to continue showing up to her alleged killer’s court appearances.
Tiffany Woodley, 35, was found dead at her home in Bedford on August 7, with her former partner Peter Damjanovic, 37, charged with her alleged murder.
Ms Woodley’s aunt Rosalie Pickett, along with her sister, appeared in the public gallery of Stirling Gardens Magistrates Court on Wednesday, where Mr Damjanovic’s case was heard by consent.
It means neither he nor his lawyer needed to appear in the courtroom, and his matter was adjourned to January 10 while state prosecutors wait on a report.
Ms Pickett spoke to reporters outside court, where she said she would continue to show up to face the man who allegedly murdered the mother-of-three.
“I am coming here for the next time, and the next time, and the next time because I feel we have got to be strong enough to face him and to look at him in the eye, even if its on the video link,” Ms Pickett said, fighting back tears.
“It’s just so painful for us to live with it every day … the day her life was taken, a part of us was taken too. We can’t hear her voice anymore.

“It’s just every day its pain, you know. We’ve been totally robbed. She just didn’t deserve it, she didn’t deserve to be taken.”
Ms Pickett wore a t-shirt with Ms Woodley’s face on the front, and “JUSTICE FOR TIFFANY” written on the back.
Hundreds of mourners gathered in Ms Woodley’s hometown of Narrogin, in the Wheatbelt region, in September for her funeral.
