A man wanted on an outstanding warrant for domestic violence-related offences has been charged in the state’s central west.
Orana Mid-Western Police District officers arrested a 30-year-old man at the Dubbo Showground on Fitzroy St, about 6.15pm on Tuesday.
He was taken to Dubbo Police Station where the outstanding warrant was executed for two counts of stalking, assault occasioning actual bodily harm and common assault in relation to domestic violence.
He was also charged with self-administering a prohibited drug, common assault, armed with intention to commit an indictable offence and two counts of stalking in relation to a woman known to him at a home in Dubbo.
The man was refused bail and is expected to appear at Dubbo Local Court on Wednesday.
