Two found dead in NT home

NORTHERN Territory police are investigating the deaths of a man and a woman who were found in a house on Groote Eylandt in the Gulf of Carpentaria.

TWO people have been found dead in a home on Groote Eylandt, an island in the Gulf of Carpentaria off the Northern Territory.

NT police say they discovered the bodies of a man and a woman after responding to welfare concerns at a house on Groote Eylandt on Saturday night.
