THE NT government is about to announce the sale of Australia's last government-owner insurer and it's expected to help fund the territory's flood mitigation.
THE Northern Territory's chief minister is on the verge of announcing the sale of Australia's last government-owned insurer, and says some of the revenue will be spent on flood mitigation.
AN announcement on the sale of the Territory Insurance Office (TIO) will be made on Sunday or Monday, Adam Giles said.
