NT boot camp helps kids reset
THE NT government hopes an early intervention youth boot camp will help young people make better life choices and stay out of the justice system.
ACROSS the rocky escarpments and through the scrubby sand basins of central Australia, 25 teenagers are spending a week hiking on a quest to help them rediscover their self-respect.
THIS is the second set of early intervention boot camps run by Operation Flinders for the Northern Territory government since July as it tries to help young people on the cusp of making poor life decisions turn things around.
