NT Labor to refer deputy chief to police
THE NT's deputy leader should immediately stand down, the Labor opposition says, as it refers him to police for investigation.
THE Northern Territory's embattled deputy chief minister has admitted to parliament that his partner was employed by a Vietnamese company that is looking to make a large-scale investment in the NT and with whom he in turn planned to invest almost $600,000.
PRIMARY Industry and Fisheries Minister Willem Westra van Holthe came under fire on Wednesday after it was revealed that he took out a bank loan and signed a shares offer for $570,000 for a mega-mall to be built in Ho Chi Minh City by a subsidiary of CT Group.
