‘Witchcraft’: Christian woman mocked for wild masturbation claim
A Christian influencer has been mocked online after stating in a viral video that “masturbation is a form of witchcraft”.
A Christian influencer has come under fire for stating that “masturbation is a form of witchcraft”.
US woman Sierra Scribner posted a viral clip on TikTok recently in which she claimed that self-love and pleasure are the practices of sorcery, New York Post reports.
The 23-year-old has since turned off comments on her video; however, it has gained almost 800,000 views on the social media platform, where she often uploads videos on her religious views.
In the three-minute clip, she detailed how she believes masturbation is a “demonic attack” and a “form of control”.
“You are literally controlling an orgasm. You’re controlling your own pleasure. That is witchcraft,” the woman from Tennessee said.
“That is a curse that you begin to place over your own life that will then literally bleed into your future children’s life.
“You need to break that witchcraft off of your life in the mighty name of Yahshua, in the name of Jesus.”
The word ‘Yahshua’ is a Hebrew form of Jesus.

Ms Scribner then argued that self-pleasure “will become a generational curse that you started”.
She also said she’s “cancelling the assignments” of several sexual desires such as “wet dreams”, “having orgasms in my dreams”, “sexual immorality” and masturbation.
She concluded by slamming “all the witches” who believe that “Christianity is toxic”.
“Let me tell you what’s toxic. What’s toxic is a broken pattern made by witchcraft. The enemy knows how he is allowing you to fall into your own trap of pleasure,” she said.
Former evangelist April Ajoy shared Scribner’s TikTok on Twitter, where users voiced their shock.
“This Christian influencer says masturbation is witchcraft and creates generational curses that will ‘literally bleed into your future children’s life’. I don’t miss these Pentecostal circles at all,” she tweeted. “So much needless shame.”
Ms Ajoy added: “With her logic … We would all be cursed. And if everyone is cursed, is anyone really cursed?”
“Controlling your own pleasure is witchcraft and causes a generational curse? Man, I guess I shouldn’t have eaten those peanut M&Ms earlier,” another person joked.
“Probably need to remember to apologise to my grandkids for that, whenever they come along.”
“I would say that the majority of men would be members of a vast coven,” said one user.
Another said they “feel sorry” for Ms Scribner.
“This can’t be real,” another commenter wrote.
Ms Scribner has 291,000 followers on TikTok, where her bio simply says: “Glory to God.”
