MAFS’ Ella Ding reveals sex toy addiction on Sit With Us podcast

MAFS’ Ella Ding has opened up about being “reliant” on a bedroom aid, revealing it affected her ability to enjoy sex with a partner.

MAFS star Ella Ding has issued a warning about overusing sex toys – revealing she once was so “heavily reliant” on hers, it affected her ability to enjoy physical intercourse with a partner.

The former Married At First Sight bride discussed having an “obsession” with her vibrator in the latest episode of her podcast Sit With Us with fellow co-star Domenica Calarco.

During the candid chat, the 27-year-old explained that at the height of her “addiction” she was using the adult toy six times a night.

“It was like a secret obsession of mine. I used to get so excited to get into bed and spend time with it,” the podcast host explained.

“Before I would go on a date I would get off. I became addicted to it, heavily reliant on it. And the settings heavily increased.

“So you gotta be careful, because I basically made my cl*t desensitised to anything from a man.”

Ella explained she had used the toy “religiously for five years straight, six times a night”, adding that before she curbed her “addiction” her body had become used to the “pressure and strength” of the vibrator which affected in-person sexual experiences.

“I had to put it away. I said to myself, you have to stop using this, because it was making it harder to be with a man with no toy,” she said.

“I actually put it away for two or three years, and I started to take it back a notch, because I needed to get that sensitivity back and go manual.”

Despite her mishap with toys previously, Ella has learned to enjoy them now in moderation, and recently collaborated with VUSH to launch her own.

Ella launched Sit With Us alongside MAFS bestie Dom at the start of June after the pair discovered their no-nonsense approach resonated with Australian women.

The pair regularly discuss “taboo” topics – including the furore around Dom’s “naked” photo.
