Today presenter Scherri-Lee Biggs has stunned in a mini-dress during her wedding reception.
Today presenter Scherri-Lee Biggs has shared her stunning “party dress” during her picture-perfect wedding with former West Coast Eagles player Daniel Venables.
The pair tied the knot at popular Swan Valley restaurant Old Young’s, based in Perth.
Now, Biggs has shared snaps of her party dress that she wore for the reception after wearing a strapless lace Cappellazzo gown for the ceremony.
The dress featured a square neckline that clung to Bigg’s chest before flowing out at the waist to form a bubble skirt.
She revealed she got the gorgeous dress in the same place as her dress she wore for the ceremony, with stylist Lana Wilkinson helping the television presenter curate her perfect look for the day.
“Can we talk about this little party dress too? I had so much fun creating both my dresses with my gorgeous friends and creatives @cappellazzocouture and @lanawilkinson,” Biggs captioned the Instagram.
The wedding featured a star studded guest list including former and current Eagles players, as well as reality television star Anna Heinrich.
Bigg’s big day outfits weren’t the only ones she had for the occasion – as the couple had a pre-wedding celebration on the Swan River.
The then-bride-to-be stepped out in a yellow mini-dress, while her soon-to-be husband wore blue as a tribute to his former club.
The newly titled Venables confirmed their romance in May 2022, after rumours were sparked that they were a couple.
They then announced their plans to tie the knot at Christmas.
Biggs’ husband played for the West Coast Eagles, but was forced to retire at the tender age of 22 due to a horrifying injury.
The year after he was on the club’s 2018 premiership team, Venables had a horrifying clash against Melbourne’s Tim Smith.
It resulted in a significant brain trauma, with lasting concussion symptoms and he was forced to hang up his guernsey.
