Nadia Bartel’s first public appearance after split from husband Jimmy

Nadia Bartel has made her first public appearance since splitting from husband Jimmy — posting a cryptic message about her new life online.

Nadia Bartel confirmed her five-year marriage to former AFL star Jimmy was over in an emotional statement last week.

Now the WAG appears to have made a subtle statement about her new life as a single mum-of-two in her first public appearance since she told theHerald Sun she was “heartbroken” about the shock end of their relationship.

After the 34-year-old returned to the spotlight at an event in Melbourne, she took to Instagram to post about her experience.

“Thank you @mercedesbenzmelbourne and @mbmelbourneairport for having me at your Women Driving Change event #MBMWDC, it was great to be a part of it. The energy in the room, women can do it all!” she wrote.

Accompanying the post was a photo of the mum-of-two in a pale yellow pair of pants and a matching cropped jumper.

It seems her famous friends spotted the reference to being a woman who has to now do it all, rallying around to show her some love and support.

Fellow WAG Bec Judd was the first to show her support, sharing a “100” and love heart emoji.

Jessie Murphy and Erin Holland also commented, appearing to offering their full support.

“CAN AND WILL you are incredible girl,” former Miss World Australia, Erin, wrote.

“Well done babe,” Jessie said.

Meanwhile, Kate Waterhouse, makeup artist Alex Fevolva, who is married to former footy player Brendan, both shared kind words of support, telling Nadia she was “Beautiful”.

Bachelor star Laura Byrne also shared her support with a series of flame emojis, while celebrity fashion stylist Lana Wilkinson wrote, “There she is, gorgeous Nards.”

Last week, Nadia confirmed she and Jimmy had ended their marriage after five years.

“It’s been a very difficult month for me and the boys. Although I’m heartbroken, I don’t want to comment specifically on what’s been reported about Jim’s trip to the UK as I don’t think that is in anyone’s interests.

“My single focus now is to continue to protect, care and provide for my two beautiful boys as this is a personal matter,” she told the Herald Sun in a statement.

For a number of years they were one of the AFL’s ultimate glamour couples, gracing a string of red carpets together after meeting at the 2008 Australian Formula 1 Grand Prix and getting engaged in 2012 on a private beach in Mexico.

The couple sparked breakup rumours a week before confirming their split after they abruptly unfollowed each other on Instagram. They were also spotted without their wedding rings.

Despite welcoming their second child Henley in October last year, the pair haven’t been pictured together on social media since June when Nadia posted a picture of them at a wedding.

However, on Jimmy’s feed, the last post shared was a loving Mother’s Day and birthday post in May.

The couple also spent some time apart in April when Nadia headed to the US to attend Coachella with activewear Jaggad creator Bec Judd, where the pair were seen dancing in an array of racy festival outfits together.
