EVERY bride-to-be experiences pre-wedding jitters — but it seems Meghan Markle has found a clever way to get a handle on them.

Her secret to beating the nerve has been revealed as a $47.70 health supplement from London’s Glow Bar which “promises to calm your body, mind and spirit during times of stress”.

Meghan, who will marry Prince Harry on May 19 in Windsor, is a huge fan of the shop’s Ashwagandha product, according to Mail Online.

Ashwagandha is a herb, and member of the nightshade family, which is taken as a powder and can be added to coffee or tea.

It’s been used in medicine for hundreds of years, and — according to Glow — promises “feel good magic”.

Sasha Sabapathy, the founder of Glow Bar, said it could naturally lower levels of the stress hormone cortisol.

“[We] call ashwagandha ‘nature’s antidepressant’ because it naturally lowers cortisol, while simultaneously boosting serotonin,” she explained.

This isn’t the first time Meghan has spoken of her love of wellness.

In 2015 she told The Chalkboard about her diet.

Describing her daily breakfast, she said: “[It’s] Clean Cleanse vanilla shake with blueberries or an acai bowl with fresh berries, manuka honey and bee pollen (that’s my absolute favourite).”

She also described green juice as her idea of fast food.

“That’s fast,” she said. “And it’s food. (It’s been many moons since I went through a drive thru).”
