Canadian Christian woman reveals top tips after waiting for sex

A Christian woman who waited until her wedding night to have sex has revealed what other virgins should know about the experience.

A Canadian woman waited until her wedding night to have sex — and now, the blushing bride is bestowing her knowledge upon other virgins who want to consummate their marriages on the night they say ‘I do’.

In one of her “wife talks” on YouTube, Alicia Tucker, who is married to her husband Joshua, said she hoped to fill a void of information for religious brides-to-be, expressing that she hasn’t seen many women of faith speaking about sex or what to expect their first time.

First, she advised the women to discuss sex and any concerns, such as pain, with their partner prior to the wedding night, the NY Post reported.

“That way you don’t have to feel like you’re carrying all of your anxieties to yourself, and that’s part of the whole intimacy process as well,” she said.

She also recommended taking a pre-coital shower to calm nerves and ease into sexual contact.

Ms Tucker also warned women to expect blood if they’re a virgin and recommended that they lay a towel down on the bed to prevent a mess.

“If things are awkward, if it’s uncomfortable, if it doesn’t go super smooth, if it’s a little bit messy, just laugh it off,” she continued. “That’s a big part of the intimacy experience.”

Then, the Christian content creator revealed a way to work through something she personally struggled with on her own wedding night — being present.

“It’s so difficult when your adrenaline is so high and it’s a brand new experience that you have waited for your whole life and you just had your big wedding day,” she explained.

Because the “emotions are so high,” being “present” becomes all the more difficult — but not being present, she warned, will make you forget the details you’d like to remember for the rest of your life.

“If you can just somehow try to relax yourself and really take in every single moment rather than being too much in your head and not being present, you will be so happy about it afterwards,” she said.

Ms Tucker also said there was work to do after completing the deed.

“This piece of advice is something very, very practical, but unfortunately, I don’t think a lot of Christian girls even know this, which blows my mind,” she declared. “It is so important to pee after you have sex.”

Ms Tucker told her fans that she only found out about the trick mere weeks before walking down the aisle.

According to the Cleveland Clinic, “pee is the power washer for the urethra,” meaning that urinating immediately after getting down and dirty, so to speak, will flush germs accumulated during sex out of the urethra before they can cause a UTI.

In the comments below the video, fellow Christian women applauded Ms Tucker’s candidness and transparency, and even offered up their own pieces of advice, such as discussing contraception beforehand with your partner and assuring brides-to-be that their first time won’t necessarily be the best time.
