‘Heartbroken’: Millionaire banker outs cheating fiancee in engagement speech

A millionaire banker left 150 friends and family stunned after making an extraordinary claim during his speech at their glam engagement party.

Reality of being married to a millionaire

That’s not amore.

A millionaire banker has been caught on camera accusing his fiancee of being a cheater at their glitzy engagement party in northern Italy.

Massimo Segre, 64, took to the microphone in front of 150 high-society guests at the engagement event in Turin earlier this month to slam his bride-to-be, Cristina Seymandi, 47, saying he refused to be a “cuckold” while she supposedly embarked on a clandestine affair.

“I want to give Cristina the freedom to love. Specifically, to love another person; a notable lawyer, who she clearly cares about more than me,” Segre said during the mic-drop moment, which was recorded by one well-heeled attendee. “Dear Cristina, I know how much you are in love with him mentally and sexually.”

“I know that before him you had a relationship with an industrialist acquaintance,” the banker further blasted, claiming Seymandi was a serial cheater. “Don’t think it pleases me to look like a cuckold in front of all of you.”

“Cristina is so good at telling her truths, that I couldn’t leave her alone to narrate the reason why I’m ending [our] life together tonight,” he claimed. “It’s a banal story of infidelity, even premarital. I am so disappointed, I am heartbroken.”

Seymandi — who was standing right beside Segre as he read his scathing speech off a piece of paper — was seen trying to keep a straight face in front of the guests as her alleged affair was exposed.

However, she has since hit back, calling in her attorneys and saying she has possible plans to sue Segre for “reputational damage” and “very serious attacks on social media,” the Daily Mail reports.

Meanwhile, Seymandi has given multiple interviews to local media since the humiliating engagement speech went viral in Italy.

In one interview, she described the speech as “psychological violence” and “meticulously planned revenge,” according to CEN.

In a second sit-down, Seymandi said she thought Segre had “gone crazy” and may have been “manipulated.”

Meanwhile, the millionaire banker has publicly accused Seymandi of stealing $760,000 (AU $1,183,302) from one of his accounts following the shocking speech.

Seymandi has denied that claim, saying the sum was “consensually transferred” while they were still engaged.

Segre and Seymandi were involved in joint business ventures, further complicating their messy and acrimonious split.

The pair had been engaged for several years and planned to marry this coming October. Their wedding had been pushed back due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
