Woman exposes Tinder man’s shock body shame text

A woman has exposed a man’s brutal text with her post attracting almost 4 million views and leaving many shocked by his message.

A Sydney woman has shared the shocking text she received from a man after the pair matched on Tinder.

Em Sumners, from Sydney, revealed how her match – called Mikey – body shamed her in a series of back-and-forth text messages.

The 21-year-old shared a screenshot of the exchange to TikTok, where he bluntly labelled her “slightly obese” after he urged her to “put down the cupcakes”.

Following their match, Mikey looks to have initiated conversation by saying: “Hey baby put down that cupcake and sprint to my house.”

Baffled by his comment, Em responded: “Cupcake? Haha” before sending a meme of a baffled young girl.

“You look like you hide cupcakes in your bedside table,” Mikey continued, to which Em replied: “The f**k is that supposed to mean?”

The man then brazenly responded: “It means you’re slightly obese.”

The encounter took place in April 2020, but Em, who is now in a relationship, shared the throwback recently, which has been viewed more than 3.7 million views.

Thousands of people have since weighed in on the man’s shock text, with one woman commenting that her “jaw just kept dropping”.

“I can’t believe there are people like this …. Girl you’re beautiful truly!”

“You are literally gorgeous! This guy is clueless,” said another, while others said it reminded them of the brutal world of online dating.

“Tinder flash backs,” one woman wrote alongside a crying emoji.

“If this isn’t an accurate summation of what online dating was for me, idk what is,” said another.

Some labelled the man’s behaviour “disgusting” and assumed “Mikey has never felt a woman’s touch in his life”.

“Dude thought long and hard about that pick-up line …” one person wrote.
