Melbourne woman’s extreme bid to win back ex after dumping him

A Melbourne woman who regretted dumping a man she was dating has gone viral after sharing the extreme lengths she took to win him back.

Woman's 'dating fail' goes viral

A woman who regretted breaking up with a man she was dating has revealed the extreme measure she took to get him back.

Melbourne woman Tash Sgardelis attempted to make things right with an extreme gesture, documenting her progress for all to see.

However things didn’t quite go according to plan, with the unlucky-in-love singleton sharing her “dating fail” on TikTok where it quickly went viral, The Sun reports.

“I have met someone – well I did – and things were pretty amazing,” she explained in the video.

“I was looking forward to seeing him every time he left pretty much and I never felt like that [before].

Unfortunately, things went wrong when they got a bit drunk one night together and the man decided to cancel their plans the following day.

“I guess a lot of s**tty, bad experiences came back and I shut down,” she said.

“I shut him out and I pretty much ended it on the spot, which I regretted,” she explained.

Soon after, though, Tash came up with a plan to make it up to her man.

Tash recalled that while on a date to a miniature golf course, the man joked he would have 100 copies of his winning scorecard printed and sent to her work.

So, she decided that she would print 100 copies of her scorecard and deliver them to him.

“He’s either going to think I’m completely crazy or he’s going to think it’s cute and maybe talk to me … at this point, I don’t really have anything to lose,” she said in a second video.

Once she completed her mission and took the scorecards to the man’s apartment, she admitted she didn’t “feel great” about it, but would send him a message to let him know they were there.

Tash’s date took a few days to respond, but when he did, he claimed he “appreciated” the gesture and would love to get together after the holidays – a score for Tash.

Unfortunately, just like Tash, the man texted her a few days later stating he believed it’s better they go their separate ways.

“Anyway I guess I can understand that it’s completely over now,” Tash said in a final update.

“Need to start the new year off fresh.”

Many people who kept up with Tash’s love story sympathised with her and sent her messages of support.

“Onwards and upwards. You live and learn from it all,” one TikToker commented.

“What a way to play with your emotions!” another exclaimed.

“Good luck in the new year and finding the bloke that will appreciate you for you.”

Yet a third person wrote: “Stay strong, be happy, new beginnings 2022.”
