Lotto winner dumps boyfriend after showering him with expensive gifts ‘which he sold for cash’
BRITAIN’S youngest ever million-dollar Lotto winner showered her boyfriend with lavish gifts for a year. He never loved her.
LOTTO millionaire Jane Park has dumped her boyfriend after showering him with expensive gifts for a year.
The 20-year-old claimed Mark Scales was a “snake” who had been spoiled by her generosity but had no true feelings for her.
She admitted she had tried to buy the 22-year-old’s love with presents including a car and a £7000 ($13,000) Rolex, The Sun reports.
But Britain’s youngest Lotto winner says he sold the watch for a quick buck after they split and is now refusing to return the Vauxhall Astra despite it being in her name.
Ms Park, of Edinburgh, Scotland, said: “We finished a month ago. We were arguing all the time. He’s a bit of a snake.
“When I was going out with him everyone was saying he is using you for money. I was trying to buy his love and obviously he didn’t have any feelings.
“I should have listened to everyone. I thought I was in love too — but obviously I was blind.”
Ms Park, who scooped the £1 million EuroMillions prize in 2013 aged 17, told how Mr Scales has continued to cash in following the breakup.
“I had put a £200 deposit down to get a tattoo for him — but he didn’t want it so I was going to get it,” she said.
“I phoned to get the money back but they told me he’d already been in to collect it.”
She added: “I also bought him a £7000 Rolex which he then sold for £1100 just to get quick cash. And I’m maybe going to have to go to the police to get a Vauxhall Astra back from him as he won’t give it to me even though it’s in my name.”
Ms Park revealed she bumped into her ex on Tuesday night — and had to stop herself throwing a hot drink over him.
Dunno how I could be such a fkn idiot to let a guy use me for money. So disappointed in myself!!!

Ms Park — who has previously splashed out on a boob job, designer clothes and holidays for herself — insists she has learned her lesson when it comes to men.
“I was too generous to him and he just got used to it,” she said.
“If I went out with someone with mega-money and I kept getting gifts, I’d get used to it. He never got a job as he was used to getting from me. I can look at it from both ways and say he used me for money. I’m not getting into a new relationship any time soon.”
Mr Scales was unavailable for comment.
