Meet the woman with the longest legs in the world

STANDING at 205cm Ekaterina Lisina is already the world’s tallest model and she is adding to her list of records by also taking out the title for world’s longest legs.

RUSSIAN model Ekaterina Lisina towers over most standing at 205.74cm. She is so tall her her legs alone are just a few centimetres shy of what would be considered the height of an average woman.

The 29-year-old also carries the title of having the longest legs of any woman in the world, with her left leg measuring 132.8cm (her right is slightly shorter at 132.2cm).

During an interview on UK show The Morning Lisina dwarfed the hosts as she told them her long limbs were apparent from the moment she was born.

“When I was born, and my father saw me for the first time he said it was only legs,” she said.

This isn’t the first record that Lisina’s height has brought her, having already been crowned the world’s tallest model and Russia’s tallest woman.

It seems being extraordinarily tall runs in the family, with her brother coming in as the second tallest in the bunch standing 198.12cm, then her father at 195.58cm and finally her mother at 185.42cm.

According to Lisina by the time she was sixteen she was already towering over her classmates.

At school her height made her a target of bullying but her brother was always there to help her out.

“It was a pretty difficult time at school, being so tall. I’d have to call my older brother to communicate with the boys,” reported the MetroUK.

Along with her multiple Guinness World Record titles and a professional modelling career Lisina has played basketball professionally since she was fifteen and competed in the 2008 Olympics with the Russian national basketball team.

She won a bronze medal in Beijing but quit her athletic career in favour of pursuing her modelling dream.

Having the world’s longest legs does have its downside though. Lisina says finding shoes to fit her size 14 feet is “almost impossible”.
