Woman dies after baby cut out of by ‘close friend’
A 22-year-old mum who died when her unborn baby was cut from her has been pictured – as claims a “close friend” is responsible emerge.
A heavily pregnant woman was killed along with her unborn baby by a “close friend” who allegedly cut the child out of her womb.
Reagan Hancock, 22, who was eight months pregnant with her second child, died after being cut open at her Texas home – before her attacker fled with the baby, a daughter she had already named Braxlynn.
A woman was later taken into custody by police across the state border in Oklahoma after showing up at a hospital with Braxlynn, according to local reports. The baby died in hospital.

The woman – who has not been formally identified by police – has since been arrested and charged with the kidnapping and murder of an unborn child with more charges expected to be brought against her.
But a PayPal fundraiser, tagged on Reagan’s mother’s Facebook page, said the woman was a “close friend,” according to a report by the NY Post.
“Reagan Hancock and her unborn baby were selfishly killed by someone Reagan considered a friend. We are trying to raise money for (Reagan’s husband) Homer and their daughter,” the fundraiser reads.
Her devastated mother Jess Brooks has since revealed on social media she found Reagan at her home after the attack, adding the family had been “rocked to the core”.
“Our beautiful daughter Reagan Hancock and her precious unborn baby girl Braxlynn were murdered yesterday by Satan in the flesh,” the post read.
“I found her and Marcus and Chris were on scene right after me. Our family, friends and community are rocked to the core.”
Reagan, who was already a mum to a three-year-old daughter, posted about how she was expecting a “SWEET BABYGIRL” with her husband Homer Hancock on November 10 last year.
“She already acts like her daddy and big sister. We cannot wait for our Braxlynn Sage to be here. Daddy is definitely outnumbered,” the post read.
It was accompanied by two photos from a hospital scan.
Tributes have since poured out for the young mum, with many sharing their shock at the news.
“I don’t have the words to tell you just how deeply sorry I am that this horrible tragedy has happened,” one wrote on Facebook.
“I cant imagine the pain and hurt your family is having to endure,” another said.
