An Australian tattoo artist has divulged her craziest story, revealing how a joke led to someone actually getting their genitalia inked up.

Rochelle, who works at Markd Tattoo in Redfern, NSW, revealed she had a female client come in with her boyfriend.

“She was, as a joke, egging her boyfriend on like, ‘You should get a tattoo on your penis,” the artist recalled.

Rochelle said by the time she’d finished tattooing the man’s girlfriend, he agreed he would get the tattoo.

“I was like, ‘OK, well. Let’s do it’,” she said.

“He got the outline of a wave cause he wanted to tell people, ‘Hey, do you wanna ride the wave?’”

Rochelle joked that it was “too good not to have in her life”.

Questions started to roll in, with many asking the same thing – whether the man needed to be erect while getting the tattoo.

“Hate to ask, but did you need him hard for it,” one social media user commented.

“Obviously it’s not an exciting time so it’s not excited,” Rochelle responded.

She revealed in order to successfully complete the tattoo, the skin needed to be stretched. She said she used cling wrap and a paper towel roll in order to stretch it out.

“I think I’m the only one that had a good time,” Rochelle joked.

People were understandably stunned at the man’s choice to have his penis tattooed.

“I would never. Too much sweat and moving around down there for men and women,” one social media user commented.

Another added: “It’s all about the motion in the ocean.”
