A dispute in a queue for the opening of a sportswear and shoe store in Sydney has ended in a shocking brawl with both the involvement of paramedics and police.
Dramatic video shows one teen lunge at a man, hitting him in the back of the head.
Multiple others were then involved with at least 15 punches thrown between the group in chaotic scenes.
A man could be seen with his hands up trying to escape as members of the group continued to grab and punch him.
It all unfolded at about 6.30am on Saturday outside of Foot Locker at Macquarie Centre, North Ryde.
People had queued up overnight in anticipation of the store’s reopening.
At the beginning of the clip posted to social media, a security guard could be seen speaking into a radio while among the scuffle but did not intervene.
The uploader of the video claimed on Reddit the fight started after someone cut the line.
Police have charged two 16-year-olds and one 17-year-old with affray.
They were given conditional bail to appear at a children’s court in November.
“While in the queue, it’s alleged a 20-year-old man was grabbed and assaulted by a number of youths, before his friend was also assaulted when attempting to come to his aid,” NSW Police said in a statement.
Both those men were treated by ambulance paramedics and declined to be taken to hospital.
