When kids lose a tooth, they usually get a few dollars worth of pocket money, but PR maven Roxy Jacenko’s son had other expectations.

As a kid, losing a tooth is pretty exciting — it means you get a visit from the tooth fairy, which ultimately means you get a little pocket money.

So when PR maven Roxy Jacenko’s son Hunter Curtis, 7, lost his tooth, he was very excited about getting a visit from the tooth fairy.

However, the seven-year-old had some high hopes about how much he was expecting to get.

In an Instagram video shared by the PR queen, Hunter could be seen putting his tooth in a pouch before revealing that he was hoping for a couple of green notes.

“I lost my tooth,” Hunter said to the camera.

“What are you doing with it?” Roxy asked, before Hunter responded: “I’m putting it where the tooth fairy can [bring me] money.”

Roxy then asked her son “What sort of money are you looking for?”, to which he responded “$200,” without any hesitation.

Shocked by his demand, Roxy asked, “$200? Oh, OK,” to which Hunter casually responds, “Yes”, before continuing to show his mother where in the toy he has hidden his tooth.

Roxy, who is the founder of Sweaty Betty PR, shares Hunter and her daughter Pixie, 10, with her investment banker husband Oliver Curtis.

In August this year, the 41-year-old mum bought her daughter a $270,000 car as the 10-year-old’s toy business booms.

While the youngster clearly can’t drive the slick black Mercedes-Benz GL just yet, it will be used to transport her between school, home and the office where Pixie takes a firm hand on the two businesses she runs with her mum, earning as much as $200,000 a month.

Pixie, who boasts almost 90,000 followers on Instagram, first went into business when she was just a baby, when Roxy launched Pixies Bows in her name.

Fast-forward to May 2021 and the schoolgirl launched her own business idea – Pixies Fidgets – after jumping on the new sensory toy trend sweeping school playgrounds.

It was a huge success, with the coloured, silicone bubble-popping toys selling out in the first 48 hours.

As a result, “super proud” Roxy treated Pixie and Hunter, who helps packing orders and making buying decisions – to the expensive new car.

“I’m super proud of her and her brother. Pixie’s idea to add fidgets and sensory toys to her bow business, which many people said wouldn’t be popular, has been a huge success,” Roxy told news.com.au in August.

“The help both her brother and her give me on the buying (every night we work on new style selections and argue over it), the packing, the restocking, goes well beyond their years so the new car was a reward.

“We’ve made a pact, we must keep going, work harder. Next it’s a Rolls Royce.”

Roxy also runs celebrity management firm Ministry of Talent and her own accessories business as well as a content creation company and her newest venture, XRJCelebrations.
