Roxy Jacenko blasts graffiti attackers who vandalised office

The PR maven was called a “c***” in a graffiti attack on her office this morning — but she’s fighting back with her own words for the vandals.

Roxy Jacenko reveals all about her marriage

Roxy Jacenko is standing strong after a brutal attack against her, blasting the culprits “childish and pathetic”.

The PR maven has spoken exclusively to news.com.au about the late-night vandalism that occurred at her Sweaty Betty office in Sydney’s Paddington overnight, where her walls were scrawled with crude the words: “Roxy is a c***.”

“Call me names all you want, I will continue to rise above it, each and every time,” Roxy told news.com.au.

“You aren’t upsetting me one bit. All you are doing is wasting your time and firing me up to succeed.”

Branding her attackers “childish and pathetic” the mum-of-two said she was mostly in shock about the extreme lengths people took to try to rattle her.

Cruel words were scrawled in giant letters on the wall of her Sweaty Betty office.

“I do believe they think it upsets me. I mean, why else would someone get up at 1.30am to bother vandalising my property? The fact is, it doesn’t. If anything it fires me up to try and do better,” she said.

Police were called to the address in Sydney’s east at 8.15am this morning after a passer-by spotted the words “Roxy is a c***” spray-painted in giant black letters of the walls of her office.

Vandals also sprayed graffiti on the traffic barrier near Syd Enfield Drive that read: “Roxy Jacenko is a crook”, as well as writing “Roxy is a dog” on the road.

But in true Roxy style, she’s refusing to let the attack get to her, telling news.com.au what angers her most about the attack is the time and money it costs the local council.

“Not only is this attack a pure disregard for public spaces and vandalism, it costs the taxpayer money and for what benefit?” she fumed.

The 38-year-old said the incident affected her morning routine, admitting she dashed out of the house before she’d even had “a chance to brush my teeth” to clean the eggs off the front façade and paint the wall.

“If they want me to stop my normal course of business, think again. I may not have showered or had a chance to brush my teeth as I had to scoot out the door to asses this new hit at 7am this morning but I am at my desk and working on my next pitch for a client,” she said.

However she added: “I don’t mind a spot of cleaning, it’s like therapy only cheaper.”

The brutal attack comes after reports her “noisy” $400,000 Aston Martin Vantage V8 that she parks illegally in a no-stopping zone outside her office had angered neighbours.

But Roxy explained she only does this when there is “no other parking” available.

“I park over my garage, which is in my back lane, when there is no other parking available due to clearways and limited other parking in the Paddington area from time to time,” she said.

Sadly, it’s not the first time Roxy has been hit with a vandalism attack, with the first one happening two years ago, about the time her husband Oliver Curtis was released from prison after serving a year for insider trading.

Roxy isn’t letting the attack get to her, focusing on her work and family.

In 2017, police were called to investigate after the building was vandalised at least three times with “foul-smelling sludge” and ink-injected eggs following an extensive $1.4 million renovation.

She said she believed the culprit was “someone close to home” though no one has ever been charged.

Despite the setback this morning, her determination not to let it affect her is clear.

“Believe me, with what I have lived, being called a c***, crook, a cancer fake, this is the least of my concerns,” she said.
