Rebecca Judd’s ‘gross’ discovery at Melbourne beach

The AFL WAG has urged fans to “stay out of the water” after making an unexpected find in the city’s most popular swimming spot.

Horror as Sydney Harbour 'swim' video goes viral

Rebecca Judd has issued an urgent warning about a Melbourne beach after spotting “poop” in the water.

The influencer was left horrified after revealing she’d seen human waste in her local waterway, taking to social media to express her dismay at the “gross” find, caused by recent storms in Victoria.

Recent heavy rain has contaminated the water at Port Phillip Bay, flooding it with harmful bacteria’s, pollutants after local sewage works overflowed, the Environment Protection Authority (EPA) said.

“So gross, it looks like s**t too,” she wrote on Instagram, alongside a video report on the worrying situation from ABC News.

“Please stay out of the water … nobody wants your gastro.”

Judd, who is married to former AFL star Chris Judd, shared the link to the EPA site with her 758,000 followers and urged them to “check their local water rating” before going for a dip.

Unseasonable storms are behind the Melbourne’s water quality issue, with most beaches from Phillip Island all the way around to Geelong affected by “stormwater pollution”.

The water conditions for a string of popular beaches on the shoreline have been left in a “poor” state, rendering them too dangerous for swimming.

The downpour has also turned the Yarra River brown, The Herald Sun reports.

Despite the worrying water woes, Judd appears to have been enjoying Melbourne’s recent burst of summer weather, attending the Piper-Heidsieck black tie event on Sunday.

Judd wore a figure-hugging red dress to the star-studded party, where guests sipped on champagne and enjoyed on-court seats to celebrate the start of the Australian Open 2024.

She completed her tennis outfit with a cross-body bag and a pair of sparkly trainers, and posed for a series of snaps alongside Chris.

“Thank you @piper_heidsieck for a terrific night at the @australianopen tennis,” she wrote on Instagram.

“The on-court seats were such a treat.”
