Nadia Bartel debut new partner at Australian Open: ‘We’re so happy’
Nadia Bartel has finally made her first public appearance at the Australian Open with her partner of two years, declaring “we’re so happy”.
There’s been glimpses in the tabloids and the occasional selfie on social media - but Nadia Bartel and new partner Peter Dugmore are finally ready to step into the spotlight.
The famous WAG and her model partner made their first public appearance at Novak Djokovic’s thrilling start to the Australian Open on Sunday night and were the picture of happiness.
“I like to be private in some things but we’re so happy,’’ Bartel told the Herald Sun.
“He’s a really good person and it’s been just over two years, we’re enjoying our time together. We just had a really nice break in Sydney and I’ve mainly just been here with family chilling by the pool.”
The duo joined a swag of A-list guests including tennis legend Andre Agassi, former Aussie Formula One driver Mark Webber, composer Tim Minchin, TV personalities Eddie McGuire, Matt Preston and Melissa Leong, athlete Peter Bol, former top jockey Michelle Payne and Collingwood stars Darcy Moore, Mason Cox and Brayden Maynard.
Bartel was speculated to have started dating the former footballer turned model and personal trainer in January 2022 when they were spotted in Melbourne.
Their budding romance had gone relatively under the radar until they were snapped on holiday in Byron Bay in December the same year, kissing and cuddling.
They have kept chasing the sun, heading to Spain in mid-2023 where they delivered some scorching snaps.
She has largely kept her romantic life private in the years since her split from Geelong Cats star and Brownlow medallist Jimmy Bartel, though she was previously linked to Nathan Brodie in 2020.
