Pregnant woman, 21, killed after her baby cut from womb by woman who wanted child
A woman who was eight months pregnant with her second child has been found dead, her unborn baby cut out of her womb, in a horror attack.
A pregnant woman was horrifically killed after her baby was cut out of her womb, allegedly by a woman desperate to have a child.
Pamella Ferreira Andrade Martins, 21, was eight months pregnant when she was found dead at her home in Nova Holanda, Brazil by police who smashed down the door to her bathroom on Thursday.
Officers were met with a scene of horror as they found the young woman dead on the floor, with her stomach cut open and her unborn baby missing.
An anonymous family member told local media that Ms Martins had allegedly been locked inside the bathroom by the perpetrator, The Sun reports.
An unidentified 22-year-old woman has been arrested.
The suspect was admitted to hospital after going to a nearby A&E unit, allegedly carrying a dead baby.

‘WHATEVER IT TAKES’
The woman allegedly told doctors that she had given birth to the baby boy herself and had fallen down the stairs with him, G1 reports.
But tests proved she had not been pregnant.
A knife was allegedly found in her handbag and she was seen with Ms Martins the day before she was killed, reports said.
Ms Martins’ family told police that the suspect was desperate to have a child and claimed she “would get herself a child whatever it takes”.
Ms Martins was married and had a two-year-old son, her family said.
Police are continuing to investigate their shocking deaths, and an autopsy will be carried out to determine the cause of the baby’s death.
