Nadia Bartel asked about plate scandal in Instagram comments

It’s been a few days since Nadia Bartel made her return to Instagram and she’s already being asked a question she’s “unlikely” to avoid.

‘She’s back’- Embattled Bartel’s big comeback

It’s been just a few days since Nadia Bartel’s return to Instagram following her “snorting” scandal, but there’s already one question she can’t escape.

The 36-year-old had been laying low for six weeks after a three-second clip surfaced, which showed her “snorting” a white substance on September 2, during Melbourne’s lockdown.

Her first post since apologising for the incident was business-related with a video spruiking a new denim collection from her fashion label Henne.

However, while her legion of followers commented that they were excited to “have her back” others couldn't help but ask the mother-of-two a question she’s unlikely to escape.

“One word answer please: “What was that white powdery substance?”’ one asked on her most recent post, according to the Daily Mail.

Entertainment reporter Peter Ford believes it’s the burning question every reporter will have for the former WAG.

“What is going to haunt her though, and sooner or later it’s going to come to the crunch, where somebody will be interviewing her … the first question they’re going to ask is, “What was on that plate?”’ he said on 6PR Breakfast with Gareth Parker, on Thursday.

“And she’s going to have to answer that,” said Ford, before joking that the substance on the $3 Kmart plate may have been ‘Wizz Fizz’.

While he added it’s “not like she burned down an orphanage or anything,” Ford predicted she wouldn’t be able to avoid the scandal for long.

Since returning to Instagram, some followers have continued to make reference to the controversy on her latest post.

“Give me some powder babe!” one person wrote, while another added: “What contraband we got in the pockets? Asking for a friend.”

Others who have continued to troll the embattled influencer have been shut down by her supporters.

“How does it feel to be the first hater in the comments? Seriously? Unfollow and get a life!” one woman said.

Nadia, who now boasts half a million followers, made her return to the social media platform on Tuesday, with no mention of the incident behind her six-week absence.

Instead, she kept her two latest posts strictly business.

“We have been working hard on our denim collection all year and it’s finally here! I am so excited to share @henne_ denim officially dropping tomorrow, 2 styles in 4 must have colours,” Nadia wrote in her first comeback post.

Alongside the message promoting the new range was a video showing the influencer wearing the jeans with an array of different tops, including a crop top that flashed her abs.

On Thursday, she shared another post, this time a series of images flaunting a pair of jeans also from the new collection.

“Denim has officially launched @henne_” she simply captioned the post.
