Woman’s ‘disgusting’ act in change room act Melbourne op shop

Workers at a Melbourne op shop were stunned by a customer’s “disgusting” act in a change room – and it was caught on camera.

Stunned workers at a Melbourne op shop have spoken out after footage of a customer appearing to urinate in their change room went viral.

The “disgusting” clip showed an unidentified female seemingly emptying her bladder while behind a curtain at the Sacred Heart Op Shop in Preston, located in Melbourne’s northeast.

After horrified social media users blasted the act, labelling it “indecent”, staff at the charity shop have since revealed there was more to the incident.

“Our Preston Op Shop staff were alerted to a customer’s toilet related accident in the change room area,” a Sacred Heart Mission spokesperson told Yahoo News Australia.

“Staff were unable to identify the customer, but the change room in question has since been sanitised and cleaned thoroughly.”

During the clean-up job, staff discovered that as well as urine, there was also faeces inside the changing room, the publication added.

Social media users had been left horrified after the video was shared on Reddit, with the caption: “My wife was shopping in an op shop in the northern suburbs and spotted this while waiting to try on some clothes…”.

The video, which was posted on Tuesday, only showed the culprit’s ankles which were exposed by a curtain that didn’t reach the floor.

As liquid visibly drips onto the grey carpet, and a dark patch forms, writing on the video read: “I think this person just did a piss in the change room”.

Reaction came in thick and fast to shocking clip, with one declaring: “That’s f****** disgusting. Should have called the police on them.”

“OK.. just NO. This is NOT OK. The workers in the Op shop are already volunteers and a lot of the time are elderly. Come on people have some f****** decency for once?,” another commented.

Some users commented on the fact that it wasn’t a completely uncommon occurrence.

“It happens more often than most people think. While I was jobless I tried to keep to op shops for work for the dole and heard some horror stories of people using the change rooms as toilets,” they posted.

“My mate used to manage op shops, this is not completely uncommon,” wrote another.

There were others who had an alternative, more X-rated theory, for what was taking place behind the curtain.

“This will end up on OnlyFans is my guess” one commenter wrote, a sentiment shared by many.

Whatever the case, shoppers will be treading carefully when op shopping in Melbourne’s northern suburbs for the next little while.
